  • Put your AirPods in the charging case and close the lid. Then, wait 30 seconds.

  • Open the case again. Launch the Settings app and Click your AirPods, then select Forget This Device and click Forget Device twice as prompted.

  • Open the charging case, then press and hold the back button for 15 seconds, until the front case LED flashes amber, then white.

  • Reconnect your AirPods. Keep the AirPods close to your iPhone with the case kept open, then click Connect.

For Android Users

  • Put your AirPods in the charging case and close the lid. Then, wait 30 seconds.
  • Launch the Settings app and Click Connected Devices. Click the cog symbol next to your AirPods. Click Forget and then Forget Device to confirm.
  • Open the charging case, then press and hold the back button for 15 seconds, until the front case LED flashes amber, then white.
  • Reconnect your AirPods. Keep the AirPods close to your Android smartphone with the case kept open, then click Connect.
